The Wave Movement is a curated wellness experience that invites guests to dance in nature as we foster self-care, belonging, and social chance.
The Wave Silent Disco is a guided community dance event held outdoors that uses silent disco technology to create an optimal experience. The Wave is an inclusive event in which everyone gets to join in and benefit from the healing power of music, movement, and nature.
The Wave is more than just a fun event, it is a movement to end loneliness. To further our mission, a portion of the proceeds from each event goes towards supporting non-profit organizations like ALMA, that addresses loneliness and isolation in older adults using intergenerational volunteers and the creative arts.

Seeking an Event Producer to assist in event operations and event management:
We are now hiring for positions in LA, New York, and Florida!! We are looking for motivated, creative, bright, and service oriented Event Producers who are as passionate as we are to spread our mission and bring together communities to help uplift, connect, and heal through dance and music!!
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Coordinate volunteers for setup / breakdown
Charge, sanitize, and count headsets
Make housekeeping announcements
Deliver equipment onsite
Follow SOP’s during event
Manage headset inventory list
Ensure headsets have been charged, sanitized, and counted
Act as a point person for volunteers, Djs, special guests, and our community
Arrive 1 hour early to unload and organize volunteers for setup/check-in.
Set up and break down of events (tech and check in)
Coordinate Volunteers into roles
Help DJ/facilitator with setting up silent disco equipment
Check-in guests + manage volunteers that do check in
Make housekeeping announcements
Delivering equipment for private events when needed
QUALIFICATIONS
2+ years experience in event production or management.
Advanced Excel/google sheets skills .
Highly organized individual! Preferable community-building background — great manager of people.
Active in the startup/tech industry, the health & wellness world, and/or local arts & culture community.
